I’d buy one, even in the first year. Weber’s warranty on their products are killer. They stand behind what they build and will replace sh@t if it has probs. I’m all in on this, just need to see how it works. That box looks awfully small to be a hopper!!
Be hard to beat a RecTec at their price range!
I have two Rec Tec RT680’s and love them. Awesome easy cooks come of them every time. And the best after the sale service ! Best value for the dollar IMHO.
I wonder the price tag. Probably at least $1000.
Where is the hopper for the pellets? The side box is too small to be the hopper.
I would not buy ANYTHING in its first year of production — that’s equivalent to beta testing. I’d wait for the company to fix whatever needs fixing, and for the experts to do their testing and commenting, and THEN I’d make my decision on whether or not to purchase one. Having said that, I’m a firm believer in ANYTHING in the barbecue/grilling world with the Weber name.
